thinking about how tender it is to wear the clothes of a loved one… clothes are a part of how we construct and understand ourselves so to give someone your clothes is literally to give them a bit of yourself… you are giving that person a bit of your home, of a place you lived in and inviting them in…you’re trusting them with the soft parts of your body, with your sweat and smell and tiny manifestations of aliveness…. what a lovely thing
